If we have a cancellation due to weather, we will push out the schedule out one week. We will only reschedule one makeup if there is more than one rainout.
Times/Format: The times will run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each Sunday. For the first half hour, teams will practice on a half-field. For the second half hour, teams will scrimmage. Games are played with 3 players on a side, with no goalies, and no score kept. The purpose is for kids to associate "soccer" with "fun," get some exercise, and touch the ball as much as possible.
Weather: in case of rain, the session will be cancelled. Check http://www.soccerwest.com for weather updates.
Location: We will meet at Aliber fields near the intersection of Grand Ave. and 63rd Street. (Enter just west of Auto Zone and go past Pal Joey's.) Your coach will attach a bandana with your team color to your goal.
Equipment: Each player needs to bring, to every session, four items:
1. A size 3 soccer ball.
2. Shin guards.
3. Water bottle.
4. A parent

Snacks: your coach will ask parents to volunteer to bring treats on a rotating basis to each game. I would encourage you to keep the treats small in size and not overly sweet. After all, the game ends right before dinner time.
Uniform: try to have your child wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt that is the team's color. Other than that, there is no uniform.
